You will be working for…

Europe’s Largest Watercooler Company and leaders of the UK Market.

Due to continued growth in their business they are looking for an apprentice to work from their UK Headquarters in Wolverhampton.

In this role, you will…


·Work within a team of seven people reporting to the IT manager


·Provide support on desktop, laptop and software systems


·Provide support remotely and face to face to the company head office users based in Wolverhampton and users based at the company’s

14 sites around the UK


·Taking incoming calls and assisting with 1st line support issues

·Update the service desk system in accordance with internal procedures

·Undertake PC and Laptop building i.e. install and configure all correct software

·Escalate support issues where normal procedures have not resolved the problem to senior support IT support analyst or 3rd party suppliers

·Provide physical asset management


·Use the PO system to generate, track, receive and record delivery orders


·Maintain and manage pool equipment


·Create and maintain support documentation

Apprenticeships and Vendor qualifications L3


·Advanced Apprenticeship Infrastructure Technician Level 3 (equivalent to A- level educational level), MTA Networking Fundamentals,

MTA Mobility and Devices Fundamentals, MTA Cloud Fundamentals, One Microsoft MOC on demanded course

Who should apply...

The ideal candidate will have…


·Excellent communication skills


·A polite and patient telephone manner


·Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems


·Basic printer and network knowledge


·An enthusiasm to develop a career in the field of IT and the ability to demonstrate clear interest in this


·5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English



Other Important Information…



Daily working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm



What happens when I complete my apprenticeship…

After you have completed the level 3 programme there will be the opportunity for you to progress onto level 4 and also be offered a full time role within the organisation.
