IT Solutions Implementation Project Manager

Do you have a background in outsourcing and contact centres?

In this role, you will manage and implement new business and campaign projects including IT development, inbound and outbound telemarketing, administration, loyalty, fulfilment, distribution, data capture and data management elements through all relevant stages of its lifecycle from project initiation through to project closure, review and benefits realisation.

Working closely with Senior Management and other stakeholders, you will agree delivery targets, and develop appropriate governance and controls to ensure delivery to target; identifying required resources, negotiating resource availability and assigning tasks and responsibilities.

Responsible for defining the scope and budget of projects, you will identify and manage interdependencies, plan and manage the project schedule and control budget, quality, risk and change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish scope from initial brief
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Define requirements for specification and test management
  • Plan project and schedule resource, identifying key milestones, issues and risks, tasks, priorities, dependencies and resources to a level that allows control to be exercised
  • Oversee the management of IT development projects
  • Apply the arvato project management methodology to the specific requirements of the project and tailor expert knowledge and influencing styles to meet specific circumstances
  • Brief delivery teams and monitor project schedules; plan through to successful implementation
  • Direct, manage and motivate assigned project teams to achieve goals through enthusiasm, commitment and support to other team members. Ensure effective communication with assigned teams, and that the agreed project management methodology is adhered to and all necessary process documentation is kept fully up to date
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. Ensure stakeholders are informed of any significant updates to the schedule that impact project schedule, budget, scope or quality
  • Track project milestones and deliverables (overall, scope, schedule, costs, quality), and develop and deliver progress reports at a frequency appropriate to the project
  • Proactively manage risks and issues and devise contingency plans
  • Manage change in accordance with existing processes
  • Conduct project reviews following closure to identify good practice and lessons learnt
  • Conduct benefits realisation review following project closure and against expected benefit of project
  • Contribute to sales processes through written and other input
  • Act as a key participant in team and client meetings, grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalise on partnership opportunities

REQUIRED SKILLS

Essential

  • Proven track record of successful project implementation (across the whole project lifecycle) in similar roles within the contact centre and outsourcing environment
  • Experienced in the management of IT projects
  • General knowledge of IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of CRM applications
  • Experience of test management
  • Ability to co-ordinate development and testing tasks by using a ticketing solution
  • Ability to document business processes using UML terminology and tools
  • Qualified in at least 1 industry recognised Project Management methodology (e.g., Prince 2)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in a rapid, high growth environment with ability to take ownership of tasks and see through to conclusion
  • Experience of stakeholder management, driving consensus among all parties
  • High degree of business acumen with the ability to add strategic value to projects
  • Experience in the production of quotes/budgets
  • Business Analyst and change management skills an advantage
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Project, Visio and Microsoft Office
  • Able to motivate team delivery to tight deadlines
  • Strong communicator with excellent rapport building skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to other arvato sites and to client sites
  • Ability to interact successfully with the broader arvato organisation

  • Knowledge of German language (written and verbal) an advantage
