Basic $60,000 - $80,000 + Super + benefits

Rarely do businesses such as this need to actively look in the market for consultants. If this company were based in the UK, they would never need to advertise or use external consultants to assist them, as people would be knocking down their doors! Due to the market in Australia at the moment needing overseas candidates, this company are looking for someone to relocate and work in a high-achieving, experienced and expert environment and be 'their own boss', if you will. With a policy of 'no micro management', this company believe in guidance, support and advice, but absolutely no strict management as they like their consultants to flourish and believe this is the best way.

With a new brand about to be launched in the coming months, and a new website, this company is going places, and want superior consultants to join their ever growing team. They specialise in IT recruitment, and have Networks & Infrastructure and IT Sales desks available. With a team of 8 people, they are looking to grow to 12 by the end of the year, and are happy to wait for the right people.

The job will entail, but not be limited to:

- Participating in training and mentoring with the Directors to learn the Sydney market from day one
- Business development of Sydney clients, cold, warm and hot
- Interview candidates and offer excellent customer service to ensure you build up a good database
- Obtaining referrals from existing candidates
- Working towards building up an excellent name in the IT market, to ensure future success
- Advertising online and in newspapers, where necessary
- General administration and other ad hoc duties

This is not a company that will question what you are doing every five minutes, if you are billing a healthy amount every month. They will offer you guidance where needed and are always happy to help, but you will feel completely responsible for your own patch and the running of your own business if you join this company.
