My clients are the largest supplier of management solutions to a lucrative £5BN UK industry, supplying an innovative range of software based management, marketing and training services.

Due to career progression they are now looking for an IT Manager to drive the next phase of development of our SaaS product portfolio, as well as managing our development teams and our IT infrastructure.

This is a senior position in a company that continues to expand despite the economic climate. The company has an array of new products coming to market which will expand its portfolio in both the UK and overseas.

The role will involve managing the technical development of the companies SaaS products ensuring that time and cost are kept to a minimum, along with managing the internal and Offshore development teams to ensure best practice is undertaken, and time to market is minimized.

 The successful candidate will have experience of running IT teams and driving product development both strategically and tactically. It is also essential that you have experience of development lifecycle management.

 A proactive individual you will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with a focused approach to delivering objectives and targets.  You will also need to be flexible enough to work in a company which has innovation and product improvement at its core.

 Essential requirements of the role:

  • IT manager and product development experience
  • Relevant IT qualification
  • Project Management qualification (desirable)
