IT Infrastructure and IT Security New Business Development Manager £120k Southeast England

Based in the South East with a European customer base basic salary up to £50k per annum, depending on experience, + excellent uncapped commission

A well-established and progressive provider of hardware, software and managed services that are highly accredited and have good relationships with key IT vendors eg. Cisco VMWare Citrix Netapp Microsoft, Symantec, IBM Hp etc. This top IT partner with strong technical resources requires a new business sales professional to join a successful sales  team based in the Southeast.  With a highly effective Marketing team supplying warm leads you will also be expected to bring in some new customers.

This is an exciting role for an experienced professional to join a well resourced company with Europe wide ambitions . If you are experienced in selling IT products and services and are an ambitious self-motivated professional who is eager to hunt out new business opportunities we would like to hear from you.

The role will include:

  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries
  • Generating new business and developing your own account base. This will be fully supported by strong collateral and the option to target specific companies with the marketing team.
  • Work directly with the marketing team with leads passed from them, consistently providing feedback throughout sales cycle to ultimately demonstrate ROI.
  • Extensive training and mentoring provided
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact , manage personal time and productivity.
  • Manage product and service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 12 months experience in a reseller environment or be a graduate with a high level of IT knowledge and good sales ability
  • A knowledge of at least three of the following manufactures products and solutions Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Microsoft Symantec, Citrix, VMware, NetApp or IBM
  • Ability to generate new business and develop an account base
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service when managing accounts
  • Ability to cross and up sell at all opportunities
