As an IT / Help Desk Team Lead, you'll be responsible for providing an efficient, cost-effective and measurable IT service that meets the ever changing needs of the business.
A confident and dedicated manager, you will support, motivate and develop the IT service team to meet company requirements. This will include setting objectives, team building, performance management, recruitment and dealing with training requirements.
Your other duties will include:
- Ensuring an adequate helpdesk service is provided
- Contributing to the design, development and implementation of IT policies, strategies and standards
- Managing the UK IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network and services
- Ensuring agreed IT projects are completed according to specification
- Providing formal user based training
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A proven track record of managing a small IT team
- Strong experience in a helpdesk role (or similar)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS and Microsoft Windows Desktop OS
- Experience of designing, configuring and managing LAN and WAN
- A background in working with MS front office and back office applications
As an IT / Help Desk Team Lead, you'll need to be able to communicate at all levels within the company. The ability to prioritise your work is also paramount.
