We are seeking an IT Build Manager for our prestigious insurance sector client based in Exeter. The successful candidate will possess a solid background working within a similar capacity. Experience of the following is required - building, deploying, large-scale Java web applications, automating application deployment, configuration management, continuous build, integration practices, source control systems (SVN), Maven, Ant, Hudson, Subversion, Java, J2EE, Oracle, UML, XML, Guidewire, ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, GOSU, automated acceptance test suites, QualityCentre (QC), Test Director, Agile, change control and release management.
The ideal person will possess a broad skill set required to come in and hit the ground running. Working within the insurance / financial sector will be of an advantage.
The contract will initially last for 3 months with the potential for extensions. It will pay between £425 to £525 per day depending upon experience.
