Invoice Validation Executive, Salary: £18k, Location: Kent

Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading energy/power company in Kent as an Invoice Validation Executive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the invoice validation aspects of client accounts. This involves checking invoices, monitoring customer status on a monthly basis; ensuring clients are invoiced, where appropriate, for work completed and that client debt is managed in line with internal procedures.

• Raise client fee invoices for services provided.

• Review invoice validation reports that are sent out to clients to ensure they are accurate and meet the clients’ needs conforming to client service level agreements.

• Develop a good understanding of products so you can deliver the best client service, meet agreed client deadlines, assist clients with their queries, make improvements and ensure continuing levels of client satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

• I.T. skills. You must be very competent in Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and competent in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Experience of inputting data and using databases on a day-to-day basis is essential.

• Strong administration skills and attention to detail. This role requires the ability to manage a large volume of information, paying close attention to detail; spotting errors to ensure the client continues to receive an excellent level of service. This role requires the post holder to ensure clients comply with the contractual needs and keep client information accurate and up to date.

• Strong analytical skills are required to absorb complex information in relation to energy tariffs, the energy sector and the legislative requirements affecting our business and clients.

• Organisation skills. You must have the ability to manage competing client demands, liaise with suppliers and adhere to internal quality standards often to tight deadlines. This role requires the ability to input into personal work objectives and take a proactive approach to managing a busy workload.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience of liaising with clients on the telephone is essential.

• The ability to manage client expectations in an assertive, systematic and professional way to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
