International, multi-award winning investment management firm specializing in the
construction of fund of hedge fund portfolios for institutional and private investors is
looking for an Investor Relations Analyst for immediate employment to work on a 6 months termporary basis possibly longer. It could also lead to a permanent position.
The firm currently manages approximately USD 2 billion of assets and is poised for
continued growth. The IR Team is seeking an Analyst who will be involved in a range of marketing and investor relations responsibilities.
Job Description
The role:
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to take part in the on-going development of the Investor Relations Team which is split between London and Malta.
The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation of a wide range
of marketing materials; developing and distributing investor reporting and
communications, managing relevant client related databases and assisting the
Marketing/Investor Relations Team with various ad-hoc presentations and client
reporting projects.
Previous experience within a traditional asset management or within the hedge fund
industry is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must be able to absorb new information quickly as well as possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities will include:
> Production of monthly client reporting, including factsheets, custom client reports
and marketing presentations
> Using MS PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign and MS Excel to assist in the production
and distribution of monthly performance reports and presentations of an
extremely high standard
> Developing tailor-made presentations and marketing materials for specific
investors and industry events at the request of the CIO and Business
Development professionals
> Assisting with requests for information/requests for proposals (‘RFPs’) from
investors/potential investors and maintaining the Team’s RFP answer database
> Supporting the development and on-going maintenance of our Client
Relationship Management system which is used internally by the IR
Team
> Monitoring incoming transactions from clients with regards to our investment
products and ensuring the accurate tracking of these transactions in our CRM system
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have up to two years of professional experience and a
keen interest in alternative investments
Strong academic background; top-tier university degree with a first or 2:1
(minimum requirement)
Commitment to detail, with a proactive approach to maintaining the look and
appeal of all marketing material
A demonstrated team player and self-starter with strong analytical skills
Ability to co-ordinate and manage several projects on an ongoing basis and work
effectively with Teams across the firm in various locations
Minimum of 2 year commitment to the IR Analyst position
