Investment Operations Administrator

A leading city-centre based Investment Management firm are looking to recruit an Investment Operations Administrator to work in one of their administration departments on a long-term temporary basis to assist with a major project.

This temporary position is predicted to last between 6 - 12 months at least.

This is a prestigious and reputable company who are seeking an organised, enthusiastic and high calibre individual to become a member of their lively and dynamic team.

The Investment Operations Administrator will be responsible for:

• Transferring a high volume of cash transactions, funds and assets via various methods (BACs, Chaps, International payments / transfers)
• Processing financial data and preparing reports in accordance with FSA regulations
• Handling internal and external queries from business clients on a regular basis
• Working to tight deadlines and accuracy
• Updating internal spreadsheets and systems
• Assist when requested in project initiatives within the operations department

Essential Requirements:

• A good eye for detail, demonstrable experience of accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional and confident communication skills
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel with strong mathematical skills
• Ability to manage large workloads to strict deadlines

You must meet one of the following criteria:

• Educated to degree level (or the equivalent) in a finance-related/technical subject (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Accounting and Finance, etc.) with at least 6months proven office-based administration experience

OR

• If you are not a graduate you must have proven administration experience gained within the financial services industry, processing payments preferably using BACS or CHAPS
