Organisation Description
An established manufacturer based in the heart of Lancashire are seeking an experienced Production Planning/Inventory Manager for a newly created role at their Burnley site. This is an exciting operational role with a manufacturer that is going from strength to strength in their chosen field of home improvement product manufacturing.
Job Description
This "hands on" management opportunity will involve:
Train, develop and motivate a planning team of 2.
Implement a process of continuous improvement within inventory control of manufactured parts.
Develop a manufacturing KPI system.
Provide and maintain production plans, material schedules and labour schedules.
Develop, implement and control key MRP systems.
Person Specification
Candidates must have experience of production planning and inventory management within the manufacturing sector. We are ideally looking for candidates that have worked across numerous set product lines alongside smaller bespoke lines. Experience of working with SAP would be advantageous alongside experience of a larger scale MRP system.
The company offer a basic salary to £38,000 with an excellent benefits package. Urgent response advised!
