Inventory Control Coordinator - Supply Chain
The IC Department and the Coordinators and Administrators are responsible for all product flow from our vendors to our Distribution Centre in Coventry out to stores nation-wide. In addition to this, you will also deal directly with your allocated vendors and buyers within the Buying Department, to obtain product availability and correspondence where required. Strong communication skills are required in order to get the best possible intake volume and timing from our vendors.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and participate in weekly review and order placement for allocated categories
- Key role in chasing Vendors/Suppliers for stock.
- Validation of merchandise to be delivered. Contact with vendors to book stock into our warehouse with particular emphasis on timings and volume.
- Ensure merchandise is correctly balanced across all stores. Arrange store to store transfers where necessary.
- Send and receive store e-mails and action where appropriate.
- Complete administration and keying of Purchase Order Change Forms (past Due/Order maintenance)
- Assist with preparing the weekly outgoing paperwork package for stores (Every Thursday)
- Meet with vendors where necessary and discuss any delivery issues which may arise
- Meet with buyers on a regular basis to discuss product positions and obtain better product knowledge and awareness.
- Visit stores to gain product knowledge and product placement
- Be involved in regular store queries and stock availability issues
- Be involved in weekly reports to ensure all stores have sufficient stock of all key line
- Complete any reasonable adhoc task as required.
