Organisation Description

Our Client is seeking an experienced International Business Development Manager
(Territories - Russia/China and Hong Kong/South America and Spain)

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive
08.30am – 5.00pm 1 hour break for lunch
Extra hours will be required on trips and road shows when necessary 

It is essential for the position that you can speak fluent Russian.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Business Development/Sales:
• Accountable for the development of the market segment and delivering agreed sales targets and year on year growth for your territory
• Market research via internet
• Following up on direct enquiries/leads from the Companies websites
• Attendance and delivery at Tradeshows/conferences
• Organising and delivering Sales Presentations for Agents etc.
• Provision of suitable marketing material
• Organising and delivering roadshows/workshops
• Production of cost effective annual budget/sales/business plans for review to support sales growth for your territory.
• Promotion of products to clients as/when required. This may include presentations on products and services.
• Preparing proposals for attendance at tradeshows including costs, objectives and expected targets
• Identifying and building relationships with the most cost effective (ie Larger group) Agents and contacts

Person Specification

Person Spec and Skills:
• Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the language of your allocated Territory and English
• In-depth knowledge of your territories culture and business set up gained through travel or work
• Proven sales ability and a successful background of working in a target driven environment.
• Ability to work from own initiative and develop ideas
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Excellent rapport/relationship building skills
• Dynamic, confident and self motivated
• Confident in presenting to groups of people
• Be approachable and personable with the ability to influence people over the phone
• Possess numeracy and accuracy skills with attention to detail
• Good working understanding of office IT products including MS Office applications MS outlook
• Experience within the educational travel sector – desirable
