Up to £40,000 DOE Plus On-Target Bonus
Our client has established themselves as market leaders of environmental fuel storage equipment. They have been established for 12 years and have a proven track record for consistent growth. An opportunity has now arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer / Executive to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a successful sales professional with an engineering or technical background, to play a key role in our client’s plans for continued growth.
As an Internal Sales Engineer / Executive, you will be responsible for successfully handling a high volume of new enquiries, converting a large percentage into sales.
In this key role, you will be tasked with looking after and developing your own customer base. You will identify and follow-up technical leads, answering any customer queries and developing a pipeline to progress prospects into sales.
Performing complex costing and tendering, you will accurately communicate customer requirements directly to the design and production teams. Although primarily office-based, from time-to-time you will be required to visit clients at their sites.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven sales experience gained within an engineering or technical environment, ideally in the mechanical or fuel sectors
- Excellent MS Office skills
- A driving licence
As an Internal Sales Engineer / Executive, you must be a strong communicator with a good, confident telephone manner. The ability to produce and deliver presentations is key.
