Job Description
One of the U.K.’s top chartered accountants are looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team in Basingstoke. Working alongside both Assistant and Senior Managers, you will be given practical training in internal audit in order to carry out the following duties:
• Interviewing operational staff to determine account validity.
• Examining and interpreting statutory regulations and procedures to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Ascertain and record audit areas
• Carry out substantive testing via scrutiny of transactions, records and accounts
• Reporting on findings and recommending rectifications within areas of control weaknesses.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the public sector with a minimum of 2 years’ internal audit experience. The successful candidate will likely be studying or already a part qualified ACCA or IIA.
