Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Our client is a UK based consultancy that requires a Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Services team in Oxford.

Applicants must have a minimum of HND in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the design of Building Services Engineering systems gained within a consulting engineering background, including experience in schools, offices, healthcare and residential buildings. Experience in specialist sectors such as data centres, leisure and sports facilities is highly desirable. You should have excellent AutoCAD expertise and knowledge of iSBEM and IES would be beneficial. Ideally you will have  the ability to compile reports, manage information streams and minute regular progress meetings with clients and contractors and  have familiarity with witnessing of commissioning for mechanical systems and competent to carry out snagging of mechanical building services systems. You should also be capable of carrying out design for ductwork and pipework sizing, building heat loss and cooling load calculations, and plant and equipment selection.
