An exciting and fast growing company within the FMCG industry require an experienced finance professional to head up there finance and supply chain activities on an interim basis to cover for maternity leave. This London based company have ambitious growth plans and seek a dynamic individual from the FMCG industry to contribute towards this goal.
Key Responsibilities include:
Fully encompassing, to all areas of finance (reporting, commercial, controls)
- Produce high quality management information, and monthly accounts
- Maintain strong internal controls,
- Interface with external suppliers and customers, including auditors
- Essential support for the CEO
Fully encompassing, to all areas of supply chain (forecasting, planning , external supplier relationships)
Work with department heads to drive business effectiveness and manage company resources, e.g. cash, A&P investment
Managing a small team of 2 full time analysts (Finance, Supply Chain) to achieve team objectives
The required candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with finance management and supply chain/operational experience. With both a can-do attitude and a willingness to take on responsibility, the successful individual requires good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail. The candidate should show a desire to work in a small entrepreneurial business, but would ideally have FMCG experience. Effective prioritising and a readiness to work outside of a pure finance function are desirable.
