Our Client is an independent provincial broker and specialises in General Insurance solutions for businesses. They are looking for a Commercial Insurance Handler to work in their Mansfield office.
Job Specification
- Reporting to the Team Leader on a day to day basis
- To be responsible for the internal administration.
- Handling new business quotations, renewals of existing clients and mid- term alterations.
- Dealing with general queries from customers relating to insurance.
- Following internal procedures and FSA compliance.
- Undertaking general office based duties as required.
Personal Specification
- Able to communicate effectively, both written, numerically and verbally with clients, work contacts and colleagues.
- Experience of commercial or personal lines insurance from an Insurance Broker background.
- Enjoys working in a team and possesses excellent organisation skills.
- Is willing to comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
- An understanding of general insurance classes of business.
- A desire to work towards the Nottinghamshire office Branch targets and goals.
