Insurance Account Handler

Our client a well-established Insurance Broker provider are seeking;

Role:                Account Handler

Location:        Worcester

Salary:             £16,000 to £22,000

Working in a busy office environment you will have had face to face sales and have some experience of office life.

You will be dynamic and passionate and targets will hold no fear for you.

You will sell insurance products to customers who come into the shop and who call for quotations(previous experience not necessarily required).

There is no cold calling you will simply have the ability to convert opportunities, If you have motor or household sales experience that would be advantageous but is not a requirement.

However, you must have experience of selling face to face, have office based experience and be computer literate.

There will be a need to work on a Saturday morning on a rota basis.

If you have household/motor insurance experience basic can be reconsidered.

You will need to pass an insurance exam and will be rewarded with a £1,000 pay rise upon successful completion.

 Responsibilities:

• To respond quickly and effectively to client requests relating to their insurance policies
• To arrange insurance cover as agreed with client
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and show them where they can obtain better value on other insurances they hold
• To ensure relationships with insurers are enhanced through your professionalism
• To follow Branch procedures to protect the client, us and the insurer
• To ensure all relevant information is given to the client as required
• To take responsibility for your personal development in terms of understanding the policies, procedures, the legal and regulatory framework and to share this knowledge with your colleagues
• To ensure you act in accordance with current regulatory procedures
• As a committed member of the Branch team, you must be flexible and adaptable in terms of whatever may be required of you.
