Brighton, East Sussex (office/field based, covering East Sussex and the Solent)

Our client is a national service provider, delivering major infrastructure programmes in the utilities, rail and communications market. They are now seeking an Installation Area Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a manager with a strong grasp of Health & Safety legislation and NRSWA requirements looking to progress their career. As an Installation Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of team managers throughout East Sussex and the Solent and managing performance to meet company targets.
Ensuring that targets and KPIs are met, you will manage customer relationships and deal with any escalated complaints in a timely manner. You will also be tasked with the development of direct reports.
You will carry out monthly and bimonthly one-to-one meetings with team managers and highlight performance levels, offering vital support and direction. Additionally, you will ensure full compliance with Health and Safety and NRSWA regulations.
Your other duties will include:
- Ensuring all necessary compliance documentation is adhered to
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relations with key interfacing areas
- Analysing resource plans in order to keep contracts profitable
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and NRSWA requirements
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel
- A full driving license
Additionally, as an Installation Area Manager, you must exude a professional demeanour and possess the ability to manage, motivate and grow a team. A 'can do' attitude and the ability manage conflict and to communicate effectively across all levels is key.
