The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting within an assigned territory to uncover new opportunities and sell Red Hat's comprehensive technology offerings. You will identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts on a quarterly basis and track customer data. You will also work closely with internal and external partners to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers and Red Hat.
• Working directly by phone with Red Hat's Partners and Channel Managers (CM) in driving comprehensive Enterprise offerings into assigned Region by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities
• Working closely with Partners on managing and closing leads and opportunities, handing over opportunities for closing / fulfilment at the earliest stage
• Feedback to Channel Management on partner workload, strengths, and development needs
• Ensuring greater Regional coverage by identifying contact names, and positions within each customer
• Working with and co­ordinating all internal resources (sales support, pre­sales, customer service, order entry, etc) to ensure the most efficient and low cost route to opportunity closure for Regional team
• Engaging the use of the sales support team for quotations and co-­terminations to allow Regional team to sell without administrative barriers
• Following up all sales leads in the shortest possible time by phone and email
• Working with TAM and Sales Support to create, distribute and follow up on Sales campaigns
• Using full qualification techniques to understand whether an opportunity has greater potential and determining the most cost efficient route to closure
• Up-selling and cross-selling Red Hat's full range of products in all calls and opportunities
• Fully utilising Red Hat's Salesforcedotcom and Supportable X systems to update opportunity status through the pipeline from lead to order (forecast)
• Contacting Regional Accounts to introduce and identify themselves as the first point of contact within Red Hat
• Continuously training on all of Red Hat's offerings to most effectively use the company's technical resources in driving opportunities
• Maintaining up­-to-­date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive position of the company

Job Requirements• A track record of telesales and / or suitable commercial experience
• An understanding of software related sales cycle
• Ability to work as part of a team whilst demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen
• A desire to be part of a company that is redefining the entire software industry
