My client based in Swidon is is seeking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their existing IM&T team.
The role includes the design, installation, administration and optimisation of the organisation's IT server environment and associated components to achieve the high performance and availability of a range of business applications.
As infrastructure engineer you will act as a highly specialised technical resource within the IM&T department and as such will have, or will develop, technical or specialist excellence across the range of technologies and services that fall under the responsibility of the server infrastructure team.
Essential Requirements:
o Multi-Site Active Directory / DNS / DHCP
o Windows Server 2003 / 2008
o VMware (ESX / vSphere)
o Microsoft SQL Server (2005 / 2008 / Reporting)
o Citrix XenApp
o NetBackup
o HP Systems Insight Manager/Dell Openmanage
o HP Proliant / Blade Hardware &/or DELL PowerEdge servers
o Scripting (e.g. vbScript, powershell and command line)
o Thin Client (Wyse) Devices
