Our client, one of the world largest retailer is hiring. Its an indirect procurement managerial to head up the strategic procurement activities for various categories and services. The successful incumbent will be responsible to drive all indirect procurment initiatives at country level
Job Description
- He/She will lead and manage the entire procure to pay processes of indirect procurement spend and capital expenditure through data analysis, supplier selection and qualification as well as sourcing and negotiation.
- Responsible for tracking savings, reporting, vendors performance and exploring cost reduction opportunities
- Leading the local procurement team to manage an annual spend of indirect commodities and capital expenditure
Person Specification
To qualify for the role:
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant strategic procurement experience in an MNC
- University Degree qualification
- Excellent communication skills with a flair of negotiation and capable of working independently with minimum supervision
- Proven ability manage internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure successful partnership and professional procurement activities
