Independant Form F Assessor - South West Region (Bristol area)

Salary £1,600 per assesment

Main Purpose:  To undertake BAAF Form F1 assessments of prospective foster carers in line with National Care Standards and Fostering Regulations.

Advanced Childcare has an ongoing need to recruit independent Form F assessors to carry out assessments on potential foster carers using a competence based assessment method. Applicants should have prior knowledge of assessment work and the ability to write comprehensive, accurate and objective reports.

Terms and conditions:

• Payment is £1600 per completed assessment presented at the fostering panel
• You will be employed on a self employed basis, so will be responsible for your own tax returns

• Reports must be sent in electronic format and also a signed paper copy

• You will be expected to attend at least one supervision organised by the agency to this will be inclusive of the Form F assessment fees mentioned above.
• If for any reason a Form F assessment is terminated at the request of either party, the fee paid will be calculated on the basis of £60 per visit. Any work already completed will be handed back to Advanced Childcare Foster Services prior to payment.
• Must have a degree in social work.
