Our client, a global banking group which operates from various sites throughout the UK are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Sales Advisor to work in their busy Livingston office.
Job Description
Job Purpose:
* To answer all incoming existing customer calls in a professional manner and grow the business by retaining mortgage business and supporting customer in completing applications for additional borrowing.
* To use customer service skills and product knowledge to identify opportunities to promote and sell associated products and services (insurances, mortgage protection) to customers and generate sales.
* To show excellence in the role by meeting performance targets/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and displaying effective behaviours towards customers and colleagues.
* To explain mortgage terminology and processes clearly avoiding use of jargon.
* To advise customers on the necessity for adequate insurance and mortgage protection cover and make recommendations
Person Specification
We are seeking bright and motivated sales individulas to join the team. You will have previous experience in sales and be target driven. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* Excellent telephone manner, with a strong customer focus and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* PC literate with a good knowledge of internal systems, word and excel etc
* Attention to detail, with the ability to deliver accurate work even when working under pressure.
* Able to work on own initiative, using all available resources to meet customer expectations.
* Ability to embrace change and be adaptable in the workplace
