IFA Support Administrator - GROWING, PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

A growing professional wealth management practice run by established professionals including the Financial Adviser of the Year.

The Company: A small practice of 6 staff, established in 2008, that advises across the board, both on individual and group products. This role will assist the Head of Administration who ARC have built up a relationship with over several years.

The Role: Duties will include;

  • Processing all new business, including life assurance, ISAs, bonds, pensions including SSASs and SIPPs and chasing through to completion/on risk.
  • Fully updating and liaising with clients during the new business processing
  • Ad hoc client admin, for example - changes of address, dealing with requests for tax certificates, any telephone queries.
  • Telephone cover at all times.
  • Getting quotation using ex-web and some direct from providers.
  • Obtaining plan informtion for all products, transfer/retirement quotes
  • Group Life scheme renewals.
  • Group pension scheme ongoing administration - Joiners, leavers, amendments to pension contributions.
  • Franking the post for the whole team and keeping on top of office stationery

Skills / Experience Required: Our client's ideal candidate will have experience of working within the support function of an IFA business and previous exposure to 1st Software. Serious consideration will also be given to people who have worked within a life office environment and possibly a compliance background.

Additional Information: The hours are standard 09:00 - 17:30 and in addition to the salary on offer, you will also receive 25 days holiday, DIS, Contributory Bupa after probation and a parking permit. There are also plans imminent to supply a company pension.
