IFA Administration Support - ESTABLISHED, SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS

This represents an excellent opportunity to join a successful and established IFA based in Kent, who currently require an experienced Administrator to join their highly qualified and experienced team.

The Role:Your main brief is to provide administration services for both new and existing individual clients as well as providing administration support to the Employee Benefits Department in respect of Group Risk and GPP Plans. You will also work on a number of special projects at the request of the Partners. The key functions of the role are:

  • Process new business in accordance with the firm’s administration procedures.
  • Process day-to-day administration matters for new and existing clients in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
  • Deal with and bring to a satisfactory conclusion, administrative queries arising from new and existing client business.

Skills / Experience Required:Previous experience of working for a firm of IFA’s would be very helpful as our client would like applicants to have a technical grasp of a number of different product types. You do not need to have experience of both individual and group products, but a good understanding within one of those areas is essential. You should also have an understanding of information and documentation required to process new business, claims and amendments to existing policies and investments. Ideally you will be used to working with Word, Outlook & Excel, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and ideally have started studying for the Certificate/Diploma in Financial Planning.
