Hydroprocessing Technology Manager

My client is a leader in process technology to the oil, petrochemical and refinery markets and is currently looking for a Hydroprocessing Technology Manager.

This position will lead and coordinate technical sales support for new and revamped hydrocracking, hydrotreating and heavy oil processing units. The primary responsibility of the Technology Manager is to coordinate technical sales information with R&D, Engineering, Development and Alliance Partners as well as assist in new product introductions for hydroprocessing and heavy oil technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy - Leads the development of individual unit technical sales.
• Win / Loss accountability - Has moderate impact on win and loss outcome for single units.
• Knowledge of refining - familiarity of refining and petrochemical technologies along with basic understanding of industry and business drivers.
• Technology - lead the development of single unit technical proposals and or completes yield estimate.
• Influence - Moderate influence across multiple departments.
• Team Contribution - Works in teams of 2-3 with moderate influence.
• Facilitating the transition of projects from sales to engineering through the process design phase.

The Technology Manager is recognised as a leader in heavy oils and hydroprocessing technology fields combining a high level and broad scope of technical capabilities and knowledge with business focus and a global perspective.

Basic Qualifications:

* BSc degree in chemical engineering
* Proven track record with majority in process technology
* Current knowledge in Heavy Oils technologies
* Technical sales support experience
