It is essential that you have experience of leading a highly effective HR Shared Service function and have sound knowledge of employment law and have the ability to understand and influence the business and balance commercial needs with assessed risks.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Be the expert in all areas from Discipline, Grievance and Absence to Pensions, TUPE and Employment Tribunals Claims.
• Regularly review of the HR Statistics to provide insight and ideas for further improvement
• Provide a point of escalation for complex HR Support Centre requirements
• Coach and influence managers across the business in HR issues, providing business focused, risk balanced advice.
• Maintain an organised and accurate HR administration function including the administration of offers, terms and condition changes, transfers, leavers and TUPE.
• Ensure a high standard filing system and regular archiving and shredding is undertaken
You will have a proven track record in management and coaching and have some experience of providing technical and practical support over the telephone. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified. Strong influencing and negotiating skills would be advantageous.
