Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for a HR Professional (HR Advisor) to join their team based in Aldershot. The successful candidate will deliver an operational HR consultancy service to all managers and employees in the dedicated GWS Market Unit/Accounts ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, company policy and best practice The Role of the HR Professional (HR Advisor): First point of contact for HR queries. Promote an efficient and professional image to all customers, both internal and external at all times. Provision of an advisory service to employees on all HR aspects relating to individuals concerned To advise Management in respect of all HR related matters, policies and processes and to provide support where required. Ensure that all matters are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner. Help to drive organisational performance by driving core business objectives with the support of the HRBP and/or HRM To support, guide and coach business managers of all employee relations activity to include, performance management, absence management, disciplinary action, grievances, TUPE In and OUT, reorganisations of the business. Managing and supporting both the business and employees at all stages of the employment life cycle. To include recruitment activity, on boarding, employee development, succession plans, exit interviews and retention plans. Liaise with the centres of excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HRIS, HRSSC, Employee Relations teams. Ensuring business needs and wider HR team objectives are met. Ensure data integrity is maintained and the HR information systems are updated and accurate. Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR Systems and practices in the organisation. To liaise with Trade Unions where applicable and advise line managers in Union related matters Ensure Employment Law knowledge is kept up to date and the business is advised in line with this knowledge. Write and present information briefings over a wide range of HR related topics to the business. Liaison with HRSSC on necessary administrative support such as Contractual Terms and Conditions, right to work processing and documentation checking Support successful deployment of corporate initiatives such as Employee Engagement Survey, Integrity and Compliance, Ethics, on boarding, GPAS (Online appraisal system). Help identify and drive any required outputs or communications related to the above activity. The ideal candidate should have/be: Excellent administrative skills including computer literacy Results focussed and team orientated Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures Verbal and written communication skills required in order to communicate with a diverse employee & client group.
