Reed HR are currently looking to recruit an HR Consultant, specialising in policy development & implementation on behalf of a financial services organisation based in the East Midlands area.
Ultimately this role will involve developing new & existing policies whilst working closely with the HR function, key stakeholders & unions to ensure the business needs are met & are in line with legal & regulatory requirements. Although this role will sit within the HR team the successful candidate is expected to be self motivated, task driven & tenacious with a passion for taking a project from beginning to end as the role will be relatively autonomous at times. This position requires a strong HR generalist with a track record of designing & delivering effective HR policies & an eye for identifying any risks to the business & in turn ensuring risk limitation. Experience in significant change programmes, HR policy delivery & design, in particular within financial services is highly desirable. Applicants must be pragmatic in their approach with excellent communication skills & the ability to influence at a senior level within a large organisation. Experience of working in a financial services organisation is a must.
