Our client is a global organisation with a member of firms in more than 140 countries and headquartered in London.

HR Officer for the Personal Tax Services team (189 heads), Tax Insurance team (17 heads) and TAS practice based in the UK (89 heads). Also support the team of HR Business Consultants (“HRBCs”) in providing a commercial and professional HR service to the Financial Services business in the UK.

The ideal candidate requires:
• Certificate or Diploma in Personnel Management (CIPD) either partial or full completion
• Previous experience of working in an HR environment at HR Officer level
• Evidence of having dealt in an organised manner and with attention to detail where there are competing demands on workload and deliverables
• Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner
• Confidence to deal with professionally and assertively senior business clients either verbally or in writing when providing advice.

The day to day activities involve:
• Preparation of Global People Survey and local people survey reporting at relevant times of the year and ensure service line action planning is completed
• Develop and maintain internal relationships with both HRSSC and also HR Officers in CBS HR and FSO HR teams
• Provide accurate and timely management information as required by the service lines to help them effectively manage thier business and people
• Complete Absence reporting and analysis for UKI ensuring appropriate data is provided to allow business decisions to be made
• Provide advice and support on occupational health, UNUM lifeworks, well-being and other related topics as required by the team or individuals within the business
• Ensure HR team have access to regular reports on shared drive ie. Weekly current staff, Absence report, turnover report, people report, EMEIA workforce management report
• Support the HRBCs in delivering any headcount management, reduction or business planning activities within relevant service lines
• Ensuring that any organisational or structural changes are implemented in line with both our values and current legislation
• Take responsibility for delivering HR projects that are rolled out within the sub-area (eg Resourcing Project)
• Provide accurate and timely advice to line managers on specific operational issues eg performance management, absenteeism where appropriate, referring to the company’s Help and ER team as appropriate and in line with the company’s people operating model
• Act as co-ordination/dissemination point between reward team and HRBCs for salary review in relevant service lines. Ensuring principles are applied consistently and fairly
• Ensure that underperformers and service line ‘watchlists’ are being monitored and action is taking place in a timely and appropriate manner with individuals
• Identify shortfalls in service delivery and HR processes and develop solutions to address these
• Other HR tasks/activities as required by the HRBCs/HRD.
