Immediate Start - HR Officer - Skelmersdale, near Wigan - £20k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and charismatic HR Officer within a growing organisation based in Skelmersdale, near Wigan. With HR and legal support from a provider and development from the previous HR Manager, the successful HR Officer will be self motivated and confident with strong HR knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Providing HR advice to Managers and employees
• Managing employee relations, developing to leading meetings
• Processing new starters and leavers, maintaining contracts
• Working on adhoc projects, when necessary
• Supporting payroll providing cover when needed

This is a very varied and reactive role, covering multiple sites on occasion. The ideal HR Officer will be available immediately or on short notice and must have previous HR experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Assistant or HR Officer who is looking for progression. As a friendly and supportive organisation, the option to complete the CIPD with the company is available and provides an excellent opportunity to build on existing HR skills.
