HR Manager - Edinburgh
Search HR is working exclusively with a client to find an expereinced HR Manager to head up their HR function.
The organisation supports a multi million pound UK industry, with purchases of approximately £6 billion. The main aim of this business is to improve efficiency and raise standards across the industry. This support can range from training, advising Government bodies on any upcoming regulation or legislation, PR & Marketing, Research and DEvelopment and Environmental Protection.
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager will be responsible for establishing a robust HR function that is inline with the business needs. As this is a new role, the initial period will focus on establishing what the business wants from their HR function, scoping out the HR strategy, presenting to the Board and rolling out all HR initiatives across the business.
This is a permanent role with a business that is in growth mode.You must have experience of navigating a business through the organic change that comes with growth, such as organisational design, talent development, succession planning and recruitment.
This is a unique opportunity and will be best suited to someone who has worked in a green field / stand alone HR role ideally within FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Logistics.
