Our Client is a leading importer, ripener and pre-packer of tropical, Citrus and Stone fruit,.

The Role:

• As a hands on generalist Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will provide a proactive, highly professional and efficient HR advisory service to Directors and Mangers in line with current employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Key Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering the HR strategy and proactively supporting management in the delivery of the wider business strategy
• Developing, maintaining and implementing all HR policies and procedures
  Advising all employees regarding people related matters including, discipline, grievance, capability, restructuring and performance management.
• Recruitment and Selection and the induction of all new employees
• Providing personnel related management information to improve business performance

Applicants Must:

• Be CIPD Qualified OR have extensive industry experience in a similar role
• Have a good depth of expertise in HR management and up to date knowledge of UK employment law legislation
• Have the ability to gain credibility within the business and influence at all levels
• Posses strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Be experienced working in a fast paced operational environment
• Have previous exposure to BRC & Ethical audits, GLA legislation, and CSR initiatives
