Senior HR Officer / Senior HR Advisor - near Bradford, Yorkshire - up to £35,000
The Ashdown Group has been engaged to find a confident and experienced HR professional to join a successful FMCG company. This role would be the ideal opportunity for a Senior HR Officer or Senior HR Advisor to take the next step in their career into an HR Manager role.
To be considered for this HR Manager role you must be CIPD qualified; please ensure this is clearly indicated on your CV.
This is essentially a standalone position and requires a committed individual, with good time management skills and the ability to work autonomously. You will manage one direct report who will help with some of the basic administration duties, but overall the responsibility for all areas of HR and personnel management will be yours.
This role requires a strong generalist HR background and experience in the below:
• Employment law & Employee Relations
• Absence management & Performance management
• Disciplinary, grievance & investigation procedures
• Payroll & administration of company benefits
• Developing & implementing HR policy & practice
• Proven track record of cost effective recruitment initiatives
Any experience with managing Health and Safety would be of benefit but is not essential.
You will need to have a flexible approach to your work, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to line managers of various teams and ensuring they remain up to date on the latest HR related legislation and policies. You will work closely with the CEO on designated projects, produce HR reporting and manage all Employee Relations concerns.
