Salary: £40 - 45K

Interim HR Consultant required urgently for our our client who is an established Global player in the Oil and Gas sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented HR Consultant to join initially for 6 months with the strong possibility that the role will become permanent. This position reports into the HR Manager, is part of six and has no direct reports.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally come from the energy sector, although this is not essential. Candidates will enjoy working within a fast paced, forward thinking environment and will have operated at a HR managerial level. You should be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills with a result driven approach. This role would suit an ambitious HR Manager or Advisor who is a strong generalist with previous experience of HR Change, ER, recruitment & Retention, employment law and projects skills.

Key skills, experience and qualifications required

  • CIPD or Graduate level equivalent is essential
  • Will be able to clearly demonstrate depth and breadth of HR Generalist experience including HR management.
  • Strong recruitment and retention experience preferably within the Oil & Gas Industry although not essential.
  • Specialist knowledge of the UK statutory and regulatory framework.
  • Ability to provide accurate and professional guidance and coaching to Senior Managers and others on all issues relating to HR.
  • Experience of employment law, diversity and performance management.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of working within a changing environment
  • Strong project management skills and being able to implement each project successfully till end
  • Demonstrate resilience and able to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Work independently and equally be a team player.
