My client is a leading company in their industry and is looking for a capable, warm and approachable candidate to join them for a 9-12 month period.
Job Role:
* Advises and supports managers in effective people management, including training and development, performance management, and grievance, disciplinary and policy issues
* Recruitment and selection, including establishing job descriptions, advising on and coordinating advertising or search activities, interviews and selection, through to final offer and induction
* Coordinating our e-processes, educating and training managers
* Overseeing local benefit plans and assisting managers with annual pay review process
* Researches, develops and implements HR policy in accordance with business needs and legislation as required
* Assists in improving and streamlining HR processes to reduce variation and unnecessary process steps
Personal Attributes:
* This is a very busy team and you must be prepared to have a very adaptable and helpful attitude, a sense of humour is obligatory along with the following:
* Must be able to demonstrate personal confidence and professional expertise to rapidly understand the HR requirements and develop/implement innovate and practical HR solutions in accordance with business needs
* Must have proven ability to develop and maintain excellent internal relationships at all levels.
* Must have an international outlook and cultural sensitivity as well as accepting personal responsibility and having high ethical values
Qualifications:
* Ideally educated to degree level with a specialisation in HR management or CIPD qualified * Must have demonstrable generalist HR experience, including working with some degree of autonomy
