Understand the key business issues and drivers for the client area, determining the resultant strategic people priorities and lead the work to proactively initiate and deliver appropriate people management improvement actions through HR colleagues, for the short, medium and long term.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation. Forming strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment.
2. Develop and implement HR strategy aligned to the business objectives and Carlsberg group HR initiatives.
3. Partner the management team to project manage organisational changes within the business area.
4. Lead the work to regularly complete the company's talent management processes within the business area, including performance/potential management, manpower planning and succession planning, working with and commissioning HR Specialists and HRBP colleagues on any resultant follow up actions / interventions.
5. Lead and support the calendar of HR Specialist activities implemented within the business area (HR Policy advice via HRSS, Recruitment, Reward, Learning and Development). This includes related processes such as job evaluation, market reviews, development planning, as required.
6. Maintain an HR balanced scorecard, and initiate improvement activities by the operational management team to ensure that target KPI’s are achieved (eg. absence, headcount or sales per employee etc).
7. Manage the implementation of organisation development programmes (eg. Employee Survey action plans and management team development), working with Specialist HR colleagues.
8. Provide coaching, support and expertise in the management of employee relations matters, within the context of an overall engagement strategy.
9. Where necessary, work in partnership with Continuous Improvement specialists to implement improvement programmes (e.g. changes to working practices, organisation changes and business "excellence" or lean programmes).
