The role is working for a major PLC company. It is a fast growing dynamic company which employs over 36,000 people in the UK. As HR Advisor you will have the opportunity to join a large HR team but still have the autonomy to manage your own work load and time on a day to day basis. This is a regional role covering Sheffield and Rotherham. You should have strong ER experience and knowledge of TUPE would be an advantage.

It is envisaged your overall approach will be that of a business partner providing commercially focused solutions on people issues in line with the business plan.

In addition your role will also involve:
- Identifying key issues such as staff retention, absence management and the implementation of your strategies designed to have a positive commercial impact.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Trade Union representatives and employee forums.
- Taking a lead in the HR workstream projects covering change management issues, re-structures and group HR initiatives.
- Providing up to date advice on ER issues, company policies and procedures to the management team.

Ideally you will have a comprehensive generalist background with experience of dealing with dismissals, redundancies and change management issues. In addition you will be able to multi-task, possess first-class communication skills have the ability to work autonomously and make your own decisions.
