JOB PURPOSE

To offer expert and professional advice on the interpretation of Development and Training policies and procedures in accordance with current legislation, organisational procedure and best practice.
To offer professional advice and support to the design and delivery of development and training activities that support the strategic priorities.
 
Knowledge and Qualifications Required

•Minimum  of 2 years experience within an training environment (any sector)

•Graduate level CIPD qualification or Certificate in Training Practice

•Working knowledge of development and training

•Experience of advising managers on development and training practice and procedures

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills (including report writing)

•Ability to use Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word and Power-point

•Experience of working on HR projects

•Experience of monitoring and reporting on training expenditure

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Experience of using HR systems, including ad hoc report writing and analysis
