We are currently supporting of the UK's most reputable providers of affordable and supportive housing in the UK. This housing provider provides accommodation for over 100000 tenants throughout the UK. Due to growth we are currently looking for experienced Housing Officers. The salary for the Housing Officer is between £21080-£28847 with a 15% weighting if within the M25. Our client also offer excellent benefits, including 25-30 days holiday excluding bank holidays, pension scheme and various discounts for retail schemes. This housing provider has been providing affordable and supportive housing for over 70 years. They currently manage over 51000 properties throughout the UK. The role of the Housing Officer The Housing Officer will responsible for the following " To deliver an excellent customer experience for our customers and community representatives, by developing great communities tailored to individual needs and utilising customer insight in partnership with local service providers, voluntary sector and statutory agencies, " Work with home colleagues at the customer service centre to ensure that our customers receive a seamless and outrageously brilliant service that begins. " Creating customer engagement opportunities and supporting the delivery of initiatives that will build community capacity and local empowerment to enable customers to determine community priorities, " To work with our partners to assist in the development and delivery of local neighbourhood planning initiatives by utilising investment opportunities to benefit local communities and improve customer satisfaction with their neighbourhoods, " To carry out generic Housing Management activities such as, arrears, void management, lettings, estate inspections and other related tasks that are assigned by the Customer & Client Service Centre " To achieve Customer Service Standards and standards contained within Local offers " To continually develop initiatives that will improve customer satisfaction levels within their neighbourhoods " Delivery of all KPIs as set out within operational / service improvement plans and individual objectives. " Understanding and analysing reports and trend analysis to drive customer satisfaction and involvement. " Bid for and obtain relevant internal and external funding where relevant and possible to support community initiatives " To spend on average around 80% of time working in the community on a mobile working and face to face basis Selection Criteria for the Housing Officer " Previous Experience of working as a Housing Officer or related position " Experience or understanding of housing and neighbourhood management schemes " Experience of working in a multi agency environment " Experience of working within a Customer Facing Role with excellent relationship, negotiation and conflict resolution skills " Experience of managing caseloads with the ability to meet deadlines and Key Performance Indicators " Housing Qualifications such as CIH Level 3 would be highly desirable " Own transport The position is subject to an enhanced CRB Check. --------------------------------- Pertemps is an Equal Opportunities Employer
