Job Description
Hostel Support Worker required to work in the Romford area on an ad-hoc basis.
The Hostel Support Worker would ideally have:
- a previous background working in either a paid or voluntary capacity with dual diagnosis clients.
- an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- a sound knowledge of homelessness and the issues surrounding this, including benefits and signposting to external agencies etc
- an understanding of drug and alcohol abuse.
- confidence in dealing with challenging behaviours and conflict management.
