Home Care Assistant

SWIIS urgently requires Home Care Assistants to provide support to older people in the Camden area.

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of housing, care and support services for older people. As a Home Care assistant your role will be to assist in delivering independence, choice and control to residents within extra care schemes and also within the local community by providing personal care and general support.

Applicants should be prepared to work some evenings and weekends. Both full-time hours and ad hoc shifts are available.

Essential requirements

• Understanding and knowledge of the issues faced by service users.
• NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field.

• Dedication to continued professional and personal development.

Desirable

• Car driver or a willingness to travel.
• Current enhanced CRB.
• Experience of caring for older people
