They are a leading provider of high-performance scientific instruments and solutions for molecular and materials research, as well as for industrial and applied analysis.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Service Administration Assistant to join their head office based in Coventry. The main purpose of this role is to provide efficient administrative and operational support to the in-house and field-based UK Service Support Engineers. Within this role you will be responsible for receiving incoming calls from customers, logging calls onto the computerised system and directing support requests onto the relevant technical staff member. You will also be expected to prepare general correspondence, memos, reports and complex documents along with general office administration including the upkeep of various registers and distributing, collecting and collating miscellaneous documentation between departments.
The successful candidate will have some experience of working within an administrative role and will be educated to A level standard or equivalent. A strong communicator, you will be have a high standard of oral and written English and you will be a competent user of Word, Excel and SAP. A strong team player, you will have a well developed and reasonable attitude with an enthusiasm for helping others and you will be reliable with a sense of purpose for seeing things through.
