Heat Pump Engineer

We are looking to recruit an experienced domestic heating engineer to join our prestigious client to be based in either Devon or Somerset.

Our client, Source Energy have been designing and installing ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset for over eight years. Their installation teams collectively have over 80 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry. They have successfully installed over 350 ground source heat pump and air source heat pump systems across the Cornwall Devon and Somerset area. Partnered with Danfoss Heat Pumps, they are the leading ground source installer for them across the area and with Mitsubishi Ecodan as one of only 12 accredited Domestic Heating Solutions Providers in the UK for air source installations.

The role:

Working in a small team you will be responsible for installing and commissioning domestic heat pump systems predominantly into self-build and conversion properties. You will work closely with other onsite trades to ensure seamless integration of the heating solution into the property. In addition, you will also be involved with the installation of heating distribution systems, typically underfloor heating.

The successful candidate:

Ideally you will already have extensive experience of installing domestic heating system, holding relevant NVQ or C&G qualifications including unvented hot water ticket and CSCS card. Full manufacturer backed, heat pump technical installation training will be provided to the successful candidate.
