Salary £25,000 - £33,000 per annum

Our client is a leading Research and Technology organisation with an impressive record of providing specialist services on a global basis to some of the most prestigious names across a wide range of industries.

They are now recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join the business, to provide practical advice and leadership with regard to the continuous development of the HSE system and procedures.

Working with all areas of the business, you must champion a positive and integrated HSE culture and aim to develop practical and compliant solutions whilst providing proactive support and coaching to line managers. You will be required to drive continuous improvement of HSE metrics including; accident statistics and investigation, fire safety, risk assessments and hazardous waste activities.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will forge a close working partnership with the Head of HR and the Facilities Manager,  in order to develop aligned and integrated procedures and methods of working  and ensure an effective support to the management of both our people and facilities.

With excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, candidates will be NEBOSH qualified and have proven Health & Safety experience. Ideally, you will be a chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and have lead auditor experience, however this is not essential.
