Job Responsibilities

As a Health Care Assistant you will work as part of a team to provide quality patient care ensuring that each patient’s individual needs are met. You will also be responsible for undertaking specified clinical activities and tests for named patients, including venipuncture, urine testing, blood pressure readings, ECG's, weight monitoring, audio assessments and medicals.

Job Requirements

We are looking for compassionate Health Care Assistants who have a strong understanding of patient issues and are committed to the care and well-being of patients.

Additional requirements:

• 6+ months of recent UK care experience in a relevant field
• Understanding and Knowledge of issues faced by patients
• Dedication to continued professional and personal development
• Ability to undergo a full enhanced annual CRB check
• Ability provide two professional references
• Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are desirable: Manual Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene/Infection Control, Medication, Mental capacity act, SOVA, Nutrition and Hydration
