Health and Safety Manager (H&S)

Health, Safety and Environmental Manager required to join a leading food manufacturing company, based in the North West.

As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will be reporting into the Regional HSE Manager. Your key day to day duties will include keeping all employees and management up to date with legislation changes, corporate HSE policies and codes of practice. Also to contribute to the development of Regional and site Health, Safety and Environmental plans, by auditing, monitoring, reviewing and implementing Health and Safety policies, working practices and safety procedures.

To be successful for the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager position you will hold a NEBOSH certificate level as a minimum ideally diploma, be an exceptional communicator, come from a manufacturing background (ideally food), have a strong understanding of policies and procedures using environmental management systems ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and have experience working as the sole Health and Safety person managing a site.

The salary is paying between £35-£45k + benefits package and we are looking for someone to start ASAP!
