My client a dynamic and forward thinking organisation require an experienced new head of sales to develop the whole sales function from new business growth, account management and retention. Your remit will cover the full management of the organisations UK sales team as well as the Baroda call centre based in India. This is a challenging role that will require a candidate with superb commercial awareness and the ability to inspire those around them. You should come from a dynamic FMCG background- medical/pharma would be ideal!! Due to the close connection to India you should also possess fluent Hindi or Gujarati and have a strong understanding of cultural working differences. Duties to involve:
- Creation and delivery of sales strategies
- Monitoring of profit/loss margins
- Setting of KPI's and strategy
- recruit develop and lead like minded individuals
- Identification of new sales target areas
- Maximising market share and strengthening relationships with stakeholders
Travel to Baroda one a month- stay will be for up to 7 days at one time
- New strategy development
The successful candidate will have previous FMCG experience and will have led and managed sales teams. You should possess a high degree of self motivation and have a desire to succeed. Fluent Hindi or Gujarati essential
